Al Baseer Foundation began with a single mobile eye camp and has grown into a multi-program humanitarian organisation serving Pakistan's most underserved communities.
Established in 2012, Al Baseer Foundation is dedicated to improving eye health for underserved communities in Pakistan. Al Baseer Eye Hospital was inaugurated in November 2012 by Professor Saleh Memon, a pioneer of the Prevention and Control of Blindness Program and First National Coordinator of the Eye Health Committee Pakistan.
Guided by the Integrated People-Centered Eye Care approach, we work with partners, government departments, NGOs, community organisations and disability organisations. Our focus is compassion, transparency and long-term impact — and we continue to add new programs for the communities we serve.
